I heard there is a super special event happening on Saturday. They tell me there is a wonderful family out there just waiting to meet me. Then I will have what's called a "forever family" and that is the most amazing thing. I cannot wait to meet you on Saturday and even though I'm a little shy at first I hope my "forever family" will be able to see right past that to my loving and gentle personality. See you soon!

I'm new around here and they tell me it's called "retirement". I'm still trying to understand what that means but I like it. I like it a lot. Retirement has lots of meanings and here are a few I've learned.
- sleeping in - no more 5AM wake up calls!
- great food
- comfy sleeping places - I even get covered up!
- petting
- runs in the yard
- lots of tasty treats
- car rides
- petting - ear rubbing is good too!
I had my first run in the yard - it was a bit scary but a lot of fun. The other dogs here are helping me a lot.
